Todos Somos SagradosAll Are Sacred

Bilingual poems on dignity, memory, and the sacred held in ordinary days.

A debut collection in English and Spanish that honors the women of Boyle Heights, with a preface by Father Gregory Boyle. Tender, unflinching, and rooted in community.

About the Book

Todos Somos Sagrados / All Are Sacred is a bilingual meditation on the daily, unglamorous work of love at Proyecto Pastoral in East Los Angeles — the care offered to the unhoused, the immigrant, and a community touched by violence. Written in both English and Spanish, it is a tribute to the mothers and women of Boyle Heights who hold that work together.

Across these poems, Rodríguez writes toward resilience, communal healing, dignity, and second chances — an insistence that love is action, and that every person is sacred. The collection opens with a preface by Father Gregory Boyle, the Jesuit priest who founded Homeboy Industries.
